Ola S1 and S1 Pro
In time of high petrol prices, electric has been a great alternate to the petrol. Lot of new electric scooters are been launched, among them offer great convince but doesn't deliver much on range criteria.
On 16th August Ola has finally launched their new Electric Scooter S1 and S1 Pro in the Indian market, It will compete with the Ather, TVS and Bajaj electric scooters. Rivals offer decent range from their scooters but Ola claims better range of 181KM from their new scooter.
Ola said that it will allow customers to purchase the scooter from September 8 onwards and deliveries will start from October 2021 across 1000 cities and towns. Pre-bookings for the scooter is commenced and Ola has already received bookings of 1 Lakh. You can pre-book your Ola e-scooter from Ola's official website here.
Ola will manufacture the scooter in Krishnagiri plant located in Tamil Nadu, Ola says their scooter offers great performance and range at better cost, lot of bookings are been received from major cities.

Ola says that "market is ready, the consumer is ready" its that the companies are not ready. He says Ola will boost EV offerings from their side. They also want competitors to gear up into the EV market.
