Every year most of the car manufactures tend to hike prices of their cars. This is common every year and the for the upcoming year also car makers like Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Honda, Renault, Skoda, Volkswagen and even Mercedes Benz, Audi have decided to hike prices of their products. 

As we know due to shortage of semiconductor across the Globe and it has affected the Auto industry too. Even the cost of other materials involved in car manufacturing have increased. This happens every year and will continue every year. 

Audi:


Audi has mentioned that due to rise in input material costs is what making them to go for price hike up to 3% on all their cars from Jan 2022. 

Citroen:


Citroen has only 1 car in their portfolio, the C5 Aircross. Citroen has already increased the price of the C5 back in Nov '21 and in the Jan '22 company will hike the price of the C5 by 3%.

Honda:


Honda is planning for a hike on their models in the month of Jan next year. They will announce the prices at the end of this year.

Hyundai:


Still there is no official announcement from the car maker, but we are sure that Hyundai too will hike the prices of their cars in the January.

Maruti Suzuki:


Maruti was 1st to announce the hike for January '22. Maruti will announce the price list on December 31st 2021. The hike will be on all Nexa and Arena cars.

Mercedes Benz:



Although Mercedes is offering price protection for the customers who have booked there car this month. A-Class, E-Class and GLA will be under price protection offer. Mercedes Benz has announced a price hike of 2% on some of their models. Mercedes will release the final price list at end of this year.

Renault:


Renault too is increasing their prices of the car due to increase in material costs. So they have announced hike in the price on all models.

Skoda:


All 3 cars in Skoda line-up, Octavia, Superb and Kushaq will receive a price hike next month. Official price list will come out in January.

Tata:


Tata will hike the prices of both passenger and commercial vehicles. Commercial vehicles will be getting a hike of 2.5% and Tata haven't announced how much hike will the passenger vehicles will receive. Tata will announce the price list in January.

Volkswagen:


Volkswagen just like Skoda will hike the prices of all cars in their line-ups. They have announced a hike of 2-5% for each model. However Volkswagen may exclude the newly launched Taigun facelift.

Price hike is common every year at the start of the year, some other car makers other than mentioned above may announce price hike, we will update.
