Kia motors is one of the well established brand in India, they had entered India in September 2019 as we know they belong to Hyundai group. Kia Seltos was the first car by the carmaker, it was one of the highest selling SUV in the market.
After a year Kia launched it with a Anniversary edition, to celebrate one year of Kia and Seltos. It was sold in limited numbers though. Kia launched a new compact SUV Sonet in Sep 2020 and now then it has completed one year, Sonet too gets a Anniversary edition. This too is similar to the Seltos anniversary edition.
Kia Sonet Anniversary Edition exterior:
The Sonet anniversary edition is based upon the Sonet HTX trim, upfront it gets revised grille with orange inserts and anniversary edition batch, it gets robust bumper with orange accents and different skid plate just like the Seltos.
At the sides it gets same robust cladding with orange accent and the wheel caps get orange borders. At the rear too the styling continues similar to that of front.

Kia Sonet Anniversary Edition interior:
The Anniversary edition doesn't get any new changes inside as it is based on the HTX trim, it gets all of those features. Some of the key interior features of HTX trim:
- Leather seats with leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob
- Height Adjustable driver seat with center armrest
- 10inch infotainment system
- UVO lite connected features
- Sunroof
- Rear adjustable headrests
- Push engine start/stop button
- Digital instrument cluster
- Cruise Control
Kia Sonet Anniversary Edition color options:
Anniversary edition will get 4 monotone color options, Gravity grey, Steel silver, Aurora black pearl and White pearl. It will not get any dual tone paint option.
Kia Sonet Anniversary Edition engine and transmission options:
The Anniversary edition will be offered with 2 powertrains, 1.0L Turbo petrol and 1.5L Diesel engine. The 1.0L engine produces 120bhp and 172Nm of torque and the 1.5L Diesel produces 100bhp and 240Nm of torque but AT produces 115bhp and 250Nm.
The 1.0L Turbo gets two transmission options, 6speed iMT and 7 speed dual clutch gearbox. The 1.5 Diesel too two transmission options, 6 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter gearbox.
Kia Sonet Anniversary Edition pricing:
The anniversary edition will be 40k expensive than the regular Sonet HTX, Kia will sell this edition in limited numbers just like Seltos anniversary edition. Sonet anniversary edition will start from Rs. 10.79 Lakhs.

- Sonet AE 1.0L Turbo petrol DCT: Rs.11.49 Lakhs
- Sonet AE 1.5L Diesel MT: Rs.11.09 Lakhs
