MG had revealed the new Astor in the month of September and had given us all the details about their new upcoming SUV, but didn't reveal the price. But on 11th October MG has finally launched the SUV from starting price of 9.78 Lakhs going up to 16.78 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

MG said that this price will be valid for only first 5000 units and MG will revise the price later this year. MG has launched the Astor with 2 petrol engines 1.3 L Turbo petrol engine and a 1.5 L Naturally Aspirated engine.

Conclusion:
MG has priced the Astor very aggressively than the competitors, even it has some better features than the competitors. It gets segment first ADAS (optional), AI assistant and much more. The prices are for first 5000 units, MG will later increase the price later this year. One disadvantage Astor has that it doesn't get a diesel engine though the Koreans get it. Still it is very early to judge, have to wait how Astor will compete and have to wait how the pricing will change after 5000 sale number. What you guys think about the new Astor and its pricing?
