Volkswagen Polo and Vento now get a new limited edition variant to their line-ups. Skoda had launched a Matte edition for their Rapid and now Volkswagen does the same. Skoda had priced the Matte edition Rapid from Rs.11.99 Lakhs(ex-showroom price).
Volkswagen Vento and Polo Matte Edition exterior changes:
As the name suggests both the cars get a grey matte finish paint job which includes the roof, fuel flap, front and rear bumper will get Carbon Steel grey finishing, the door handles and ORVMs will be finished in black to make it look sporty and premium.
There are not any major changes upfront, at the side the ORVMs, A,B and C pillars are finished in black, rest all features are similar to the top spec Polo and Highline and Highline plus Vento. At the rear Polo gets a spoiler.
Volkswagen Vento and Polo Matte Edition interior changes:
The interior remains the same, all black interior with Chequered design, 7inch infotainment system, Auto dimming IRVM, Auto AC, rain sensing wipers with all other top variant features.
Engine:
There is no change in powertrain and transmission options, 1.0L Turbo petrol engine which produces 109bhp and 175Nm of torque. It is offered either with a 6 speed manual transmission or 6 speed automatic gearbox options.
Prices of the Volkswagen Vento and Polo matte edition:
Volkswagen Polo Matte will cost about 10 Lakhs (ex-showroom prices)
Volkswagen Vento Matte will be offered in two variants, Highline AT Matte costs 11.79 Lakhs and Highline Plus AT Matte costs 13.34 Lakhs (ex-showroom prices).
