Most awaited mid-size sedan Skoda Slavia is here and ready to compete against the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. Skoda has only announced the prices of 1.0 TSI, Skoda has planned to launch the 1.5L TSI Slavia on 3rd March '22. Skoda Slavia is the second car from Skoda-Volkswagen 2.0 India project. It shares the platform and parts from the Kushaq. Skoda Slavia is the replacement of the Skoda Rapid which was good at sales for Skoda.

Skoda Slavia Exterior features:
From the front you may get confused whether its Rapid or Slavia, resembles the design of Rapid, Octavia or even the Superb. Skoda's subtle and long lasting design is been continued with Slavia too, upfront gets black grille with chrome surround, connecting it are LED headlights with halogen for high beam and LED DRLs. Down are the fog lights with chrome inserts and fish net design like front bumper.
At the side, Skoda badge proudly embedded on fenders, chrome door handles, 16inch sliver finish alloys, chrome window garnish and black shark fin antenna.
At the rear, Slavia gets c-shaped LED taillights, Skoda boldly written, below it gets dual tone bumper with subtle chrome insert.

Skoda Slavia gets host of features inside which the Rapid lacked and made it outdated. Slavia gets dual tone dashboard with two spoke steering wheel similar to that of Kushaq. At the center is a 10inch infotainment system with reverse camera, Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. It will offer a digital instrument cluster, sunroof, ventilated seats, 8 speaker system with sub woofer, wireless charger and more
Skoda Slavia safety features:
Slavia will come with safety features like ABS, EBD, ESC, Tyre pressure monitor, 6 Airbags, reverse parking camera, multi collision brake system, Hill hold control, rain sensing wipers and more.
Skoda Slavia Engine and Transmission:
Slavia will offered with 2 Turbo petrol engines, 1.0L TSI and 1.5L TSI. The 1.0L will produce 113hp and 178Nm of Torque. It will be offered with 6 speed manual and 6 speed Torque converter gearbox. 1.0L TSI will deliver 19.47kmpl and with AT it will deliver 18.07kmpl of mileage.
The more powerful 1.5L will produce 148hp and 250Nm of Torque, it is matted with 6 speed manual and 7 speed DSG gearbox. This is most powerful engine in the mid size sedan but sadly it will be expensive and only few enthusiasts will go for it.
