Toyota Hyryder Exterior Details:
As we know the car was officially fully revealed by Toyota, upfront the car gets carbon fiber grille with Toyota logo connecting the LED DRLs at the end. Down is the large radiator grille and sliver faux skid plate. Aside are LED headlamps and fog lamps integrated together. Lot of cuts are been done to make the car look aggressive.
Coming to the side, car gets dual-tone treatment where the roof and ORVMs are been finished in black. Under the ORVMs Hybrid badging is present to indicate that it is Hybrid powered vehicle. Car gets 17inch(assuming) wheels with large wheel arches and black cladding running over. Ground clearance seems good enough.
At the rear the car gets a lip spoiler, LED tail lamps, black strip connecting both the lights. The reverse light and indicator are present lower down.
Overall the car looks aggressive and gets some sporty bits. The car looks promising and doesn't look overdone, has great SUV stance.
Toyota Hyryder Exterior colors:
Hyryder will be available with 7 monotone color options and 4 dual tone options. Monotone colors: Cafe White, Enticing silver, Gaming grey, Sporting red, Midnight black, Cave black, Speedy blue and dual tone colors: Cafe white, sporting red, Enticing silver, Speedy blue with Midnight black.
Toyota Hyryder interior features:
Hyryder gets dual tone interior color scheme, brown and black and sliver bits here and there. At the center is a 9 inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The AC vents get sliver insert, down is the AC controls which is similar to other Toyota/Maruti Suzuki cars. Car also gets Auto dimming IRVM, Heads up display, paddles shifters, wireless charging, 360 degree parking cameras, ambient lighting, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, audio controls on steering wheel, cruise control, engine push start/stop button, ventilated seats, keyless entry, auto folding ORVMs and more.
Toyota Hyryder Safety features:
Standard features like ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, speed warning. More features like hill hold control, vehicle stability control, Tyre pressure monitor, engine immobilizer, all wheel disc brakes, 6 Airbags and more. Overall the car gets lot of safety features. The car is underpinned by Global C Architecture.
Toyota Hyryder Engine and Transmission:
The Hyryder will be offered with tried and tested Maruti's 1.5 K15 series dual jet petrol engine. The engine will be offered with two tune, mild hybrid and proper hybrid system. The mild hybrid is tunned to return 103hp of power and 137Nm of torque. This setup will be paired with both 6 speed manual and 6 speed Automatic transmission options. Toyota calls this setup as Neodrive.
The higher variants will get a proper Hybrid option which will produce total output of 115hp and 141Nm of torque where the petrol motor will produce 92hp, 122Nm of torque and the electric motor is producing rest of power. This setup will be offered only with FWD setup and not AWD. This setup i.e. Hyryder Hybrid will be offered with only 6 speed CVT transmission.
If you look closely Hyryder looks like the Vitarra by Suzuki which will be launched by Maruti Suzuki later this year as their version of Hyryder. What you guys think about this new mid-size SUV? It will compete against other cars like Creta, Seltos, Taigun, Kushaq, Astor and more.
